Some of the best outdoor photoshoot locations in NWA

We live in the Natural State and every time I have a photoshoot in some of Northwest Arkansas’ prettiest locations, I appreciate the beauty around us.

Nature is the perfect backdrop to capture those adorable expressions.

When looking for the perfect location for a family portrait, senior picture or headshot, there are plenty of fantastic and creative places in Northwest Arkansas from which to choose.

Here are just a few of the best photo locations in NWA

Crystal Bridges

With its outdoor art pieces, natural trails and gorgeous Arkansas native landscaping, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art presents a multitude of opportunities for photos. You can choose something near a small waterfall then a few yards away find a great sculpture for a completely different look.

Wilson Park

Located in Fayetteville, Wilson Park has beautiful scenery, fun playground, sport courts, a walking trail and even a small castle. You can be whimsical, athletic or simply a lover of nature at this location.

Bogle Park

Bogle Park is one of my all-time favorite spots. It has a gazebo, decorative benches, flowers, and a great open-air feel. There's a reason this has been the place for thousands of BHS graduates to have their prom photos taken here over the years!

Devil’s Den State Park

With its breathtaking cliff views, trees, trails, cabins, water falls and other natural elements, Devil’s Den State Park south of West Fork is a perfect choice for the adventuring nature lover to have their photoshoot. It’s a bit of a drive down there but it is worth it!

Dogwood Canyon

Dogwood Canyon Nature Park is 10,000 acres of streams, waterfalls, jagged ravines, rustic-looking lodges, hand-built bridges and pastureland.

Peel Mansion Museum and Heritage Gardens

Peel Mansion and nearby Compton Gardens are some of Bentonville’s most scenic and historic spots. Both the mansion (built in 1875) and the grounds give a timeless background for exquisite photos.

Downtown Bentonville

The fountain, flowers, benches and trees all located on the Downtown Bentonville Square present many fun and even potentially romantic opportunities. There's also the nearby old courthouse steps and several parks within a block or two of the Square.
