In the last few weeks, we’ve shared various gift ideas from the gifts for the hobbyist photographer to photo gift ideas. What about the gift for someone who seems to have everything? Do you have relatives with old family photos that have yellowed with age?
Last week as countless people shared old, worn pictures scanned in to be shared on Facebook as part of honoring Veteran’s Day, I couldn’t help but think that it would be a perfect gift for loved ones to have those photos restored. What a wonderful way to honor the memory of your loved one’s service to our country and to preserve the mementos for generations to come!
What about some of the old family photos from decades ago? It would be a beautiful gift to have several of those restored and even placed into a book with descriptions of who each person is in the photos and what they are doing. This way, future generations in your family can easily learn of their own heritage.
In March, we talked about our photo restoration services and how we preserve the original photo by digitally scanning it in and restoring the scanned in image. The original photograph is never altered. We will give the new digital version to the client along with the original print copy.
This Christmas we at Linda Richards Photography encourage you to give the gift of time and revived memories! Contact us today to schedule in a photo restoration before Christmas.
